Job Title: Event Intern
Job Type: Part-time (20 hours per week)
Location: Denver Metro Area
Reports to: Event Manager
Job Summary:
Brunch Running is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Event Intern to assist in the planning and execution of events. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in fitness and running, as well as possess an entrepreneurial spirit. The Event Intern will work alongside the Event Manager and assist with various aspects of event planning, including social media management and on-site event coordination. The position requires weekend availability.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of events, including but not limited to managing event logistics, vendor coordination, and participant communication
- Help manage social media accounts, create content and execute social media campaigns
- Provide on-site event support, including setup, registration, and participant engagement
- Conduct post-event evaluations and provide recommendations for improvement
- Provide administrative support to the Event Manager as needed
Requirements:
- Must have an interest in fitness and running
- Must have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and be able to think creatively
- Must be available to work weekends
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of social media platforms and experience managing social media accounts
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Education and Experience:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant field of study (such as marketing, event management, or sports management)
- Previous event planning or social media experience is a plus
